Pir mahal railway station

Pir mahal railway station is located in tehsil Pir mahal infront umar farooq colony.

when we come from rajana road , it comes at the end of it on the right side.

when we come from Haris abad or Sandhilianwali, after crossing Railway Phatak, it comes in Left side.

Similarly when you come from waghi and bhussi it is also on left side.

The small railway station built decades ago, not renovated. it has small track, big old rooms. usually it is a quiet place. A big play ground near it where children comes at evening to play football, cricket and other games. There is wapda complain office and a mosque with residences.

earlier when there were no or little buses, it was the only mode to travel across Punjab and Pakistan. with the passage of time there were other options available for masses such as cars and transport system upgraded. the best thing about it was the night time horn around mid night.

Govt is not giving importance to upgrade infra structure of its departments, trains and buildings associated with its junction. especially smalll cities station like ours is always ignored. People have to go to Shorkot cantt or toba teksingh as they have big junction. The biggest junctions near Pir mahal is Khanewal but its still too far.
